The Milk Silk Oolong, a tea with a lots of fans. And that’s not really surprising as this tea is treated with steam milk, it gets a characteristic smooth and creamy taste which is loved by many. The plucked leaf bud and the first two leaves are rolled, which is why the mild and sweet taste optimally will be released as they unfold in hot wter.

Regular drinking an oolong tea can help to lower the cholesterol levels, this reduces the risk of an heart attack. People who have eczema may benefit from oolong tea, the results are already visible even after a week. It’s not certain, but it’s almost certain that the polyphenols (what’s in the tea) ensure this, it works as an anti-allergy.

How to drink?

It is important that the oolong tea leaves are given the space to unfold. The volume of the leaves will be tripled if you add boiled water to the leaves. A tea egg is therefore not recommended, because if the leaves are bunched together, the flavour will not develop and you will not get the right taste for the oolong tea. You can drink this tea everytime of the day.

  • Boil the water (preference is given to bottled water)
  • Let the water cool down to between 80 – 90 degrees
  • Add 2 grams to your cup or mug
  • Infuse for 6 – 8 minutes
