This organic oolong tea is from Taiwan. The tea leaves are withered and heavily oxidezed by sunlight, which causes them to twist or curl. The leaves have a multitude of colours, from white dots, green to almost black.

The oolong tea is a tea between black and green tea. Oolong tea will be, in most cases, half-fermented. This makes the oolong tea contains a lot less theine as other teas. Oolong is a special type of tea, as well as the flavor of oolong tea. The taste is perhaps best described as full, soft and woody. The Champagne Oolong tea has a velvety fruity taste with an champagne colour.

Regular drinking an oolong tea can help to lower the cholesterol levels, this reduces the risk of an heart attack. How to drink?

It is important that the oolong tea leaves are given the space to unfold. The volume of the leaves will be tripled if you add boiled water to the leaves. A tea egg is therefore not recommended, because if the leaves are bunched together, the flavour will not develop and you will not get the right taste for the oolong tea. You can drink this tea everytime of the day.

  • Boil the water (preference is given to bottled water)
  • Let the water cool down to between 80 – 90 degrees
  • Add 2 grams to your cup or mug
  • Infuse for 6 – 8 minutes
